Barry Griffen had a well taken point to put St Nauls in front again. At this point experienced Referee Enda Mc Feely used up all his energy as play swung from end to end with the visitors seeking scores and Termon stoutly defending with stand in goal keeper Jimmy Mc Ilwaine thwarting several good St Nauls attacks. But Termon refused to buckle and the defence held firm and strong running Nathan Mc Ilwaine with a minor and Daire and Kellan Mc Daid raised white flags before St Nauls goalkeeper had to commit a black card offence on Daire Mc Daid as he pulled the trigger in the small square. Lee Mc Brearty was now the new net mined and his first task was to pick the ball from the back of the net after Dara Mc Daid dusted himself down and placed a low shot to Mc Brearty's left side.
